ThePrevention Specialist will execute effective, clear, and consistent prevention services for individuals who seek treatment and prevention services to ensure that all program deliverables of the DREAMS Project are met. The Prevention Specialist will also provide confidential HIV/STI screenings, prevention interventions, and disseminate materials for the onset or spread of communicable diseases in Maricopa County. The Prevention Specialist will conduct outreach to recruit clients for intervention sessions, connect clients to care, and provide referrals for other treatment services.  Additionally, the Prevention Specialist will establish partnerships, strengthen local relationships with other advocates and community-based organizations working to reduce the acquiring and transmission of HIV/STI’s. The Prevention Specialist may also be required to work evenings and weekends if the Program Supervisor deems it necessary to achieve the objectives of the program This position reports to the DREAMS Program Supervisor – HIV/STI Programs.   We are a healthcare company focused on the whole person, providing primary care and specializing in mental health and substance use treatment for the last 50 years.
