Responsibilities

Terros Health is looking for professional and dedicated Art Therapist for our 27th ave Location!

 

*** New Hire Sign on Bonus: $2,000 if not licensed: $3,000 or $5,000 if licensed (cannot be a temporary license). ***

 

Full-Time: Monday - Friday 

9am-5pm, one out of the week 10am-7pm

 

This position will require working at our 3 Recovery Centers

 

Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS (Additional Language Differential is Available)

$57,000+ for associate level therapists

$70,000+ for independent licensed therapists

Position Summary: Employee will serve as an Art Therapist at Terros Health, supervised by the Sr. Director of Clinical Excellence and Children’s Operations or Designee. This position is responsible for providing counseling services which may include assessments and counseling for adults, adolescents, families, and groups.  Therapist will provide Art as therapy or Art in therapy and the provision of services will occur in any of our Terros Health Health Centers, Recovery Centers, or Treatment Centers.  This position must be highly self-motivated, outgoing and energetic and willing to travel between sites to provide services.

 

  • Conducts therapeutic art sessions using appropriate modalities based on patient population across Terros Health locations.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients of all ages and abilities.
  • Translates knowledge into effective counseling methods.
  • Ability to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions through assessment and treatment process.
  • Seeks supervision/consultation as appropriate.

 

 

Must be willing to travel to different locations for work.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Must be willing to travel to different locations for work and must have reliable transportation
  • Master’s degree in behavioral health field
  • Clinician needs to be AZBBHE licensed as a, LPC or LCSW or able to obtain within 3-months of hire and be registered as an ATR or ATR-BC

  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to establish professional working relationships.
  • Training in Art Therapy interventions required.  Credentials must be verified through ATCB, Art Therapy Credentials Board through the American Association of Art Therapists.
  • Must have the ability to perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary and appropriate.

  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment.
  • Must have or obtain a valid Arizona Driver License, be 21 years of age with a minimum of 4 years driving experience. Must meet requirements of Terros driving policy
  • Bilingual desired but not required.
