    Responsibilities

    The Senior Director of Operational Analytics is responsible for leading a team of operations analysts to monitor and improve patient care, service delivery, and data quality. The Senior Director will determine key metrics to be monitored across programs and populations and work collaboratively across the company to ensure consistency in data collection and monitoring.  The Senior Director and analysts will facilitate root cause analysis and resulting process improvement initiatives to ensure delivery of high quality, billable services that meet stakeholder expectations.  The Senior Director evaluates general and specific business conditions as they relate to patient service and other operational issues and recommends solutions to the Executive Leadership Team. This position will run the Operations Leadership Team (OLT) and will track and monitor any enterprise OLT initiatives.

     

    • Develop highly effective, collaborative relationships with key clinical and operational leaders
    • Develop, lead and manage a team of operational analysts with matrixed reporting to clinical programs
    • Provide leadership to the Operational Leadership team, ensuring collaborative, consistent resolution to opportunities and challenges throughout the organization. 
    • Set the vision, strategy and roadmap for using data to support our programs
    • Develop key enterprise wide and program specific metrics for continuous monitoring
    • Provide guidance on how to streamline the role of the clinical leader through better, more efficient use of data, streamlining of process and collaboration across the agency.
    • Serve as a champion for healthcare integration and agency collaboration
    • Support a culture of continuous improvement through demonstrated excellence in project management, and  root cause analysis
    • Monitor and lead initiatives related to financial sustainability, including billing and coding, productivity, workflow development,
    • Lead the effort to supply on-time, high quality deliverables to external entities per contract requirements
    • Work with Compliance and Service Excellence departments to ensure consistency and quality throughout the organization
    • Ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements
    • Participate in data governance activities and be a proponent of standardization.
    • Serve as a key liaison to BI and Informatics departments around how data is sourced and data models are developed

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of and experience with project management best practices
    • Understanding of data, metrics and reporting
    • Understanding that good data is data that is acted upon
    • 5+ years experience in healthcare BI
    • Ability to effectively lead and manage a team
    • Bachelors degree
    • Proven experience leading strategic design delivery and governance of cross-functional business efforts
    • Ability to understand complex issues and develop meaningful analysis
