    ****DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS INTERN****

    Terros Health is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Communications Intern to actively monitor and engage with our online communities using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. We are searching for a creative, responsible individual with a passion for all communications digital and social.

     

    The successful applicant will manage aspects of the organization’s online presence using multiple social media channels and platforms. If your formal education has provided you with the fundamentals of marketing and communication but you lack experience - this internship may be for you!

    ****This is a voluntary, non-compensated, learning Internship****

    Responsibilities

    The The Digital Communications Intern will be given an opportunity to manager the online presense of Terros Health.  Desired characteristics and skills include:

     

    • Apply strong social media acumen as well as understanding of the digital communication and marketing content management, and mobile technology in maintaining our social media presence.
    • Apply communications skills including research, writing, and grammar.
    • Communicate complex ideas clearly in a condensed format (verbal and written).
    • With direction from Director of Communications, manage company online presence using a wide range of social media channels and platforms.
    • Play an active role in creative planning sessions.
    • Build communication and collaborative partnerships with key internal stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    • Successful applicants will possess the following attributes: discerning judgment, willingness to take direction, and integrity.
    • Applicant must be currently enrolled in a fully accredited college or university. 
    • Student must be a major in one of the following areas: Journalism, Human Resource Management, Communications or Marketing.
    • Excellent written, and verbal communication skills. 
    • Affinity for digital technologies and communications.
    • Social media acumen: advanced in the use and understanding of social media channels and platforms.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Completion of the pre-student/Intern/Practicum screening process as determined solely at the discretion of Terros Health, which may include a criminal background check, and a pre-practicum drug screen.
    • Must have a valid Arizona drivers license, be 21 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
