    As a Part Time Youth Prevention Specialist the successful individual will be responsible for:

    • Duties per the programs strategic plan include (but are not limited to): outreach, youth development, and delivering presentations in area high schools
    • The Prevention Specialist will also perform related duties as assigned.


    • 21 years of age or older
    • Substance use prevention experience a plus  
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required 
    • Experience in working with high risk youth populations.
    • Computer skills
    • Able to become CPR/First Aid Certified
    • Able to become fingerprint certified in accordance with Arizona Department of Public Safety requirements
    • Must be able to interact well verbally to the general public
    • Flexibility and ability to work evenings and weekends to achieve the objectives of the program
    • Willing to work with all cultures and sub-cultures in a non-judgmental and value clear manner
    • Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
