    Responsibilities

     Terros Health is hiring a SENIOR DIRECTOR OF CRISIS in Phoenix, AZ.

     

     

    Full-Time, Employed Position

    Primary Location:  Phoenix, AZ (18th St/ Thomas Rd)

    Master's in Behavioral Health Field or Business Administration is Required

    Arizona Licensed as a Behavioral Health Professional is Preferred

    Leadership Experience is Required

    Ability to travel throughout Central and Northern Arizona is Required

     

     

     

    SDC oversees the Crisis functions and staff for our Northern Arizona and Central Arizona Crisis Teams.

    SDC ensures that program requirements are met and patients receive the best health and clinical care.

    SDC builds and maintains positive relationships with community partners.

    SDC provides inspirational leadership to staff while ensuring the financial health of the service lines.

    SDC develops, reviews, implements new programs and services, while coordinating existing programs and services, and reports performance improvement for crisis and community based services.

    SDC helps train law enforcement with Crisis Intervention Techniques (CIT).

    SDC consistently networks with professional to develop, change and/or coordinate programs or activities.

    SDC develops and maintains community relations to promote and coordinate Terros Health crisis services.

    SDC oversees all crisis lines of service including, but not limited to: Mobile Crisis, Developmental Disability Crisis, Department of Child Safety Rapid Response and Stabilization, Hospital Rapid Response and Connect to Care, etc.

    SDC will work closely and manage the Director of Northern Arizona Crisis Services and the Director of Central Arizona Crisis Services.

    SDC reports to the Chief Health and Family Services Officer.

     

    The ideal candidate will be an Arizona Licensed Behavioral Health Professional with several years of leadership experience, who exudes the Terros Health values of Integrity, Compassion and Empowerment. The successful candidate will be able to display a high degree of professionalism, high quality customer service , effective communication skills, team work, and actively supports and promotes the integrated healthcare model and is always striving to improve treating the whole patient.

    Qualifications

     

    1.

    A Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and/or Master’s degree in business administration.

    2.

    Licensed as a Behavioral Health Professional in the state of Arizona preferred.

    3.

    Minimum of eight (8) years’ in a behavioral health field.

    4.

    A proven track record of developing and leading high performing teams, with a minimum of six (6) years, experience in a leadership position.

    5.

    Must possess:

    Well-developed critical thinking and analytical abilities, time management, organizational skills, conflict resolution and judgement skills

    6.

    Must pass a TB Test.

    7.

    Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 20 working days of assuming role.

    8.

    Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite and electronic health records system.

    9.

    Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
