The Prevention Specialist must have or obtain knowledge of the Strategic Prevention Framework, as well as the State Prevention Framework. The Prevention Specialist is responsible for performing outreach activities, implementing the Strategic Prevention Framework and the State Prevention Framework as outlined per the RFP contract requirements and making referrals when appropriate. Duties per the programs strategic plan include (but are not limited to): outreach, youth development, policy change, delivering presentations, training, community organization, capacity building and have a basic understanding of data analysis. The Prevention Specialist will also perform related duties as assigned.
