    Seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant for a full-time position at our McDowell Road Integrated Care.

    Seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant for a full-time position at our McDowell Road Integrated Care, located at 4909 E McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ.


    Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

    • Answer calls with a high degree of professionalism on our 10 incoming phone lines
    • Perform basic reception duties with a high level of expert customer service - e.g. greeting community members seeking to schedule an appointment or patients arriving for appointments 
    • Schedule appointments with a high degree of accuracy and expedience
    • Engage in a high level of interaction with patients
    • Assist with maintaining medical records
    • Work closely with medical and clinical teams and assist as needed
    • Assist with back office Medical Assistant responsibilities
    • Daily use of a computer in a Microsoft Windows based environment at or beyond a basic level of proficiency
    • Some evenings and Saturdays till 5pm are required
    • Under the Agency’s policies and professional requirements, with oversight from medical/clinical staff, provides supportive services for the medical practitioners and clients.
    • Responsible for follow-ups, support and education of all the medical clients.
    • Verification of client insurance coverage
    • Collection of patient co-payments
    • Provides coordination with pharmacies, RBHA, and other medical providers, as well as completing prior authorizations as needed.

    • Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.
    • Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.
    • Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality.
    • Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma Required.
    • At least 3 years of experience with office administrative management.
    • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and mail merges; event registration software; email and web searches.
