    Responsibilities

    The Office Assistant will be an integral part of a high performing team of skilled healthcare professionals and is responsible for performing a variety of confidential front office duties and tasks including but not be limited to: 

    • Answer calls with a high degree of professionalism
    • Perform reception duties with a high level of expert customer service
    • Schedule appointments with a high degree of accuracy and expedience
    • Engage in a high level of interaction with patients
    • Assist with maintaining medical records
    • Work closely with medical and clinical teams and assist as needed
    • Assist with back office Medical Assistant responsibilities
    • Verification of client insurance coverage
    • Provides coordination with pharmacies, RBHA, and other medical providers, as well as completing prior authorizations as needed.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Able to process electronic reports.
    • Proficient in Microsoft programs, especially in Word and Excel.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
    • Confidentiality shall be practiced throughout and subsequent to employment with TERROS.
    • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
