    As a part-time Clinician in Families F.I.R.S.T you would be responsible for providing outpatient substance abuse counseling services to parents who have a substance use disorder.  These parents also have an open case with the Department of Child Safety.  This position would allow you to provide substance abuse assessments, treatment and discharge planning, individual, family and group counseling, and family support services.  You would coordinate services as necessary, working in collaboration with various State, Federal, and local agencies.  You will have the opportunity to work as a part of the Families F.I.R.S.T. clinical team.  Provides clinical oversight to Behavioral Health Technicians and paraprofessionals as required.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree, i.e., MA, MS, MC, MSW, in counseling, social work or similar mental health field
    • No licensure is necessary, is strongly preferred.  Eligibility to pursue licensure is required.
    • 5+ years of experience
    • Bilingual (Spanish – English) candidates are strongly preferred
