Responsible for providing clinical leadership within the Information Systems team toward the continual development and maintenance of the electronic health record (EHR) and integrated systems and software. Accountable for activities related to analysis, design, planning, implementation, troubleshooting and technical support, training, and process improvement. Reports to Director of Informatics and is a member of the Informatics team. Acts as the primary liaison between key clinical stakeholders and the EHR support staff. Assists with priority EHR initiatives. Coordinates with cross-functional teams and resources to ensure a cohesive EHR system for the enterprise. Develops technical training programs, creates educational opportunities and trains staff on EHR related workflows, templates and processes.

Education and Experience

  • LPN/BSN/MSN Degree in nursing required (currently licensed or non-licensed).
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry required.
  • 3-5 years of EHR, Informatics and/or IT experience preferred.
  • NextGen Certified Professional (NCP) preferred.
