The Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting with both corporate and community events, and maintaining the corporate Customer Relations Management system (CRM), and a customer relationship strategy.

The successful candidate for Marketing Assistant will have a love for special events, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, be able to communicate to diverse audiences, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers. The Marketing Assistant must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include occasional evenings and weekends. 



  • Assist with managing on-site production and clean-up for events, as necessary.
  • Represent Terros Health at health fairs, and other corporate and community events.
  • Prepare name tags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, seating cards, etc.
  • Prepare and track supplies requested for community events that are attended by departments other than the Marketing and Communications department.
  • Assist with photos at events and posting those photos to social media while at event.
  • Maintain event equipment and supplies (e.g: Table cloths, table décor, banner stands, carts, etc.)

Relationship Management:

  • Order supplies for Marketing and Communications department.
  • Have a working knowledge of all Terros Health programs and services.
  • Manage annual campaigns, for example:
    • Seasonal/Flu
    • Tax Credit
    • UDS Awareness
    • Holidays

Marketing and Branding:

  • Collateral inventory, ordering and dissemination.


  • Maintain and manage the corporate CRM system.
  • Work with EA’s to ensure leadership team members’ contacts are up to date.


  1. BS or BA in marketing or business or related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in marketing, business or event planning, or a combination of experience and education
  3. Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof-reading, and speaking
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
  5. Excellent and professional interpersonal skills both in person and by phone
  6. Self-motivated
  7. Excellent customer service
  8. High moral compass, high expectations for quality
  9. Proficient use of the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and mail merges; event registration software; email and web searches.
  10. Ability to lift 25–50 pounds
  11. Spanish speaker a plus
  12. Driver’s license with dependable transportation
