Responsibilities

Supervised by a Clinical Site Director, the Director of Residency Training, or designee. The Board of Directors and/or the President/CEO may designate other activities as needed. Full-time Residents attending the Terros Health Residency training program are required to produce 1000 clinical hours per year. In their second year, Residents no longer attend classes and group supervision; they continue to receive individual supervision weekly. They are required to bill 1300 clinical hours per 12-month period. Some performance appraisal criteria is related to the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners skills/attributes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree (M.C., M.S.W., M.F.T.), and approval of Terros Phoenix Interfaith Counseling’s Training Council.
  • Employee shall be responsible for applying for and maintaining a current state license.
  • Employee shall complete all orientation and trainings as required by the Regional Behavioral Health Authority.
  • Training in DBT and EMDR preferred.
